Stina Henriksson is an industrial designer based in Malmö, Sweden. Her Lost and Found project transforms discarded candle wax into permanent aluminum objects. Stina collects wax remnants from Malmö restaurants and hand-dips them into new forms using traditional candle-making techniques. Each wax form is then cast in aluminum using the lost wax method—the mold is destroyed, the metal remains. The result: unique objects that capture something ephemeral in permanent form.
